AFER joins disability advocacy partners in advocating for burden shifting legislation

This year House Bill 1305 was introduced, proposing a host of special education reforms. AFER joined Disability Rights Washington, the Arc of King County and Washington State, ACLU Washington, Open Doors for Multicultural Families, TeamChild, Roots of Inclusion, and the Seattle Special Education PTSA in advocating for shifting the burden of proof and production of evidence in due process hearings to school districts.
